N's appointment with the maternal fetal medicine specialist ended up getting pushed from the 9th to the 14th (it wouldn't be surrogacy without a few more delays thrown in). But the fantastic news is, he cleared her to go forward! So we can get started! She says she's feeling good about this-- she's healthier and on fewer meds than she was previously. Sounds good to me!
I emailed Barb at Houston IVF to see if I could set up an appointment. Rick needs to go with me to this initial appointment, so I'm trying to balance the timing with his work schedule-- I'm hoping it works out for us to go to Houston on 3/29. In the meantime, I'm supposed to call Barb on day 1 of my next cycle (next week some time), because I'll need to get some labwork done on day 2 or 3.
